The Revenge Kidnapping Drama's Transmigrated Female Lead - Chapter 35
The spot where their hands had touched was warm. Psyche barely exhaled her held breath and looked up at Terche. Since she was sitting and he was standing, she had to tilt her head more than usual to see him.
“On the next day, you go to Helios’s.”
The high-handed man’s gaze strongly pierced her field of vision. In that moment, she imagined him roughing her up with that ascetic face. To hide the heat spreading across her face, Psyche lowered her head.
“The day after that, you come to me.”
Terche took another step closer, grabbed her chin, and lifted her face to look at him. His fragrance grew stronger, and Psyche nervously swallowed.
“What’s your answer?”
He gazed steadily into her eyes. His persistent stare seemed as if he were trying to dig into her soul. She wanted to avert her gaze, but her body was frozen, unable to move a single hand. Psyche forced her lips open to answer without breaking eye contact.
“……Let go. I will do as you tell me.”
Perhaps he didn’t like her rebellious look, as his grip on her chin tightened even more than before. When Psyche moaned, his hand holding her jaw pressed firmly and then released.
She was free from his grasp, but she couldn’t feel at ease. He was still close, and she was trapped in his gaze. Fearful that he might lift her up again if she lowered her head, Psyche couldn’t even move. Terche looked down at her as if admiring a woman who didn’t avoid his gaze, even though he was trembling slightly.
“You seem to have finished your meal.”
After a long while, the man who had kept his lips pressed together began to move his body slowly.
“I will clear this up for you.”
As the distance between them widened, she felt a sense of relief. Psyche covered her mouth and exhaled quickly, looking at the fork he had handed her.
The fork wasn’t dropped by her. It was Terche who had caused it to drop, making her notice the fragrance and realize that the man from last night was the one attacking her.
Psyche, drying her hair in the bathroom, stopped abruptly upon looking at her watch. She was supposed to go to Serdin’s room by 10 o’clock, but it was already well past 10. If she delayed any longer, he would come looking for her.
Looking around the dressing room, something she wanted to wear caught her eye. It was a light, pale pink negligee. She stared intently at the mirror while wearing her pajamas, then turned her head toward the side where light outer garments suitable for layering were hung.
Among several outer garments, her gaze fixed on a navy blue robe that Serdin had dressed her in a few days ago. She fiddled with the robe but shook her head. Wearing this now felt like exposing her too blatantly.
Psyche draped a thin gray gown over her negligee and left the room. Heading toward Serdin’s room as Terche had instructed, she took a deep breath. As the events of today with Terche came to mind again, a strange tension welled up inside her.
‘……I couldn’t believe it, but Terche really was the culprit.’
Terche Fontos was a man who acted meticulously and calculatedly at all times. Such a man assaulted her last night and openly revealed himself as the perpetrator. What on earth was the meaning of this?
‘……Still, it doesn’t seem to be going badly.’
Unexpected situations unfolded, leaving her confused, but she wasn’t terribly afraid. For one, she was satisfied that her limbs hadn’t been broken.
With a sudden stop, her steps halted. Lost in thought, she found herself standing in front of Serdin’s room.
‘What will happen after I sleep with Serdin?’
She planned to use tonight to shake Serdin’s feelings as much as possible. However, the problem was that all her words and actions for this purpose would also reach the other male leads.
‘Of all things, none of them set up barriers…….’
Those with supernatural abilities habitually use external blocking barriers in their daily lives to guard against potential eavesdropping or surveillance by other ability users. However, the male leads didn’t use any barriers within the mansion. This was because Rezus had instructed them not to use them unless absolutely necessary.
She swallowed a sigh inwardly. The thought that all the male leads would find out about what she was planning with Serdin gave her a headache.
‘But when we get into full-blown s*x, they said they would set up barriers, so I shouldn’t worry too much.’
Thinking about even this would lead to no good, leaving her in a predicament.
Just as she firmly steeled her resolve and raised her hand to knock, the door swung open with a bang. Psyche was startled, letting out a sharp breath before her eyes widened as she saw Serdin.
