Sion was relieved to hear that everything had gone smoothly with her going to bed. He was still at the post-wedding ball, dealing with the high nobility. They were surprised that the Emperor had chosen the Ruol household, but Sion understood why after meeting Anais himself.
‘The Emperor probably doesn’t realize it.’
He was too busy blundering around, unaware of his own feelings.
Anais Ruol, the woman who became Anais Seiven today, seemed like she was created by taking only the aspects Rahil wanted from the appearance of Duchess Calix’s wife and Euphira, the Emperor’s mother.
Even Angelica, the Emperor’s passionate first love who had a significant impact on his life, initially faced Rahil’s antagonism.
In contrast, the current Empress captured the Emperor’s heart in an instant. Sion thought it was because Anais had traits resembling Euphira.
Even if Euphira was a terrible woman, she was still the Emperor’s mother. It’s inevitable for a child to love their parent. He himself came to hate his mother in his struggle for survival, but it wasn’t possible to only feel hatred.
Anais’s first impression had aspects that reminded him of Euphira. He probably was the only one to notice this, and others wouldn’t even think of it.
‘They don’t look alike at all.'”
The Emperor, even in the distant future, probably won’t realize it. Even if he does, he might just laugh it off self-deprecatingly.
The Emperor had cried alone in his room on the day Euphira was beheaded. Not imprisoning her but choosing the guillotine was a decision made for the future.
‘Will he be able to be loved this time?’
The Emperor had chosen to let go of the woman he loved for the sake of Angelica and a friend’s feelings. But it seemed unlikely he would do the same with the current Empress.
It seemed frightening that if the Empress persistently refused the Emperor and tried to love another man, something terrible would happen.
‘I’ll do my best to prevent that.’
Sion, regaining his composure, watched Duke Calix and his wife mingling with the people and made a vow.

Apart from the sore waist and the lingering discomfort between her legs, it was a fine morning for Anais.
‘This heartless person!’
After being tormented all night, it seemed he had fallen asleep without withdrawing. Exhausted Anais couldn’t gather the energy to remove it, and for Rahil, it seemed intentional. She felt he had deliberately slept that way.
What scared her was that she had quite enjoyed the previous night, causing her great embarrassment.
‘I think I felt it a lot…’
She had been shaken in Rahil’s arms, from top to bottom, felt the cl*max repeatedly, shook her head at his pleas for kisses, and was touched again…
Despite the embarrassing night, it was okay. For a first experience, it was delightful enough to be considered heavenly.
‘The second male leads in romance novels are indeed built differently.’
Reflecting on her now-faint memories of her past life, Anais forced herself to stay calm. Her experiences with men in her past life were awkward and uncomfortable, more mundane than shameful.
This indifference made her think she had seen all there was to see about s*x, which also influenced her lack of interest in relationships. She wondered if it was simply because she had encountered incompetent men.
‘Ah….is it possible he ate something for that?’
Anais glanced at Rahil, remembering his intense gaze. He was still half-holding her in his sleep. His face, peaceful in sleep, looked angelic, and she found him irritatingly endearing.
‘Truly the empire’s second most handsome man.’
Originally, there were three top beauties, including the crown prince who had passed away, leaving only Rahil and Theodore. Frankly, Theodore wasn’t to Anais’s taste. She had always preferred black hair.
‘But that doesn’t mean he’s exactly my type. The whole premise is flawed.’
She wasn’t the kind of person who passionately tries to turn the heart of a man who loves another woman towards herself. This was true in her past life and even in her current life before she regained her memories of her past.
Anais had long been aware that she was not the type for a fiercely passionate love.
‘I can’t understand it. How could he want me when he loves another woman?’
Or was it just loneliness, craving the warmth of another person? Anais thought. No matter how many times one has read the book, it’s impossible to fully understand everyone’s thoughts, and for her Rahil was no exception.
Novels don’t fully explain the details of every character. There might be omitted parts, and also books differ from reality.
If he is capable of going to bed with a woman he didn’t love, then as a secondary male lead, she thought he was truly disqualified.
‘That’s why he lost to Theodore.’
She wanted to touch the hair covering his pale forehead, but she could not act so boldly. She wasn’t the one he desired. Since Rahil was asleep, she couldn’t ask if it was okay to touch him. Of course, Rahil had fervently caressed Anais, but that was after she had given her consent.
‘I didn’t get permission.’
“Ah.”
Rahil’s movement in sleep jostled the part of him that was still inside her. A slight twist of her hips allowed her to feel the enormous thing bending and brushing deep within.
Anais, fearing that she might cry out loudly, pressed her hand against her lips. Rahil, as if in a sleep-talking state, pulled her in closer and pressed his hips against her.
“Hrghh…”
The slippery m*mber, slick with their mixed fl*ids, pushed deeper, probing tenderly yet profoundly. As Anais shivered and endured, it shifted, moving slightly side to side as if it were trying to widen the depths.
“Heuk, uhh, ahh! You’re, you’re not sleeping… Ahh!”
As soon as Rahil was caught he withdrew and then thrust back in with vigor making her cry more. Rahil pushed her down flat and moved with more intensity.
“Ah! Uh, ugh, aah! Please, enough…. Huh!”
