- The Sub Male Lead is Burning with Jealousy
- Chapter 3 Part 8 - As expected, Let me Kiss You
His half-opened lips whispered her name with temptation. Anais glanced at his lips, but she only gulped, not giving him what he wanted.
Miser.
Rahil stuck close to Anais, hiding his disappointment. He liked how their bodies overlapped exchanging heat, the touch of their skin, and their lascivious breath mixing together. Anais avoided his gaze from close range, but Rahil persistently chased after her and met her eyes.
He didn’t know what he wanted to do. He wanted Anais to contain only him in her blue eyes.
He thought it was the same for her, the same as him who wanted to devour each other’s lips. Rahil looked into Anais’s eyes as he ej*culated. He was embarrassed but happy.

‘Are you crazy! Are you crazy! Are you crazy!’
What were you doing with the sub male lead! After the first night, Anais, who was swept away by Rahil, and ended up doing it in the bathtub as well, felt a sense of self-reproach.
I wasn’t such a weak-willed person. But Rahil, who was softly and irresistibly alluring, made my heart weak.
Even now, he came to Anais’s room to stick to her, after getting his hair dried by the servant. This was a behavior that had never been shown in the original work, so Anais was taken aback.
‘You weren’t this kind of character!’
In fact, there was hardly any physical contact between Angelica and him, except holding hands, since they were not even lovers. There might have been occasional hugs or dances together, but even hugs were extremely rare.
Anais was certain that she was the only one Rahil had ever held so tightly.
‘… Because he even confessed he also hadn’t had his first kiss yet.’
It was true that the Rahil in the original story was lonely. His own mother, who should have been on his side, was his enemy, and even though he had built his own forces when he grew up, he had no one to love and support him.
To be precise, he hated women and didn’t have anyone, and the only woman he had come to like was in love with his friend, which was something he couldn’t help.
Anais understood that the reason why Rahil treated her like this was because of that. Otherwise, there would be no reason for him to do this to her.
‘Still….’
“You-Your Majesty. We have finished drying Her Majesty the Empress’s hair.”
The maid spoke as if it was awkward to interrupt the two’s pleasant atmosphere. As Anais was sitting on Rahil’s lap, she couldn’t reply. It seemed like it wasn’t addressed to her anyway.
‘Do we need to be this clingy?’
“Alright. You may leave.”
Rahil said, touching Anais’s hair. The maids left the bedroom with a look of delight as if they wanted to scream with joy. It was unlikely that their laughter was because the work had finished quickly.
“Your Majesty.”
“Hm.”
“…Don’t you think this situation is strange?”
At first, he sat next to Anais who was drying her hair. Then, without a word, he suddenly lifted Anais and made her sit on his lap.
“You’re light.”
“That’s not what I’m worried about! Why, why are you holding me like this?”
When Anais yelled, Rahil tilted his head like a puppy who had heard something he didn’t understand.
“Because I want to hold you?”
Do you want to get hit? If anyone could hold anyone because they wanted to, there would be people around rolling on the streets giving all kinds of free hugs!
Yet, the other party was still an emperor, even if he seemed to be acting meekly. Suppressing her rising emotions, Anais looked at Rahil as if asking for an explanation. But Rahil was pretending to be oblivious, merely rolling his eyes.
“Her Majesty the Empress seems to have a servant who is worth looking at.”
It was a statement that had sprung from Sion’s lips merely 5 minutes ago. At that, he remembered the contract he had written with Anais about her concubines and rushed into her room.
Sure enough, Anais had a servant beside her maids. He was a thirteen-year-old boy who ran errands.
‘I’ve been tricked!’
Though he realized it, it was already too late. Sion hadn’t directly told the emperor but had casually dropped the statement to another aide, making it difficult to investigate further.
Rahil was not unaware of Sion’s intentions. It was meant to show the nobles that he was close to the Empress. Though it was infuriating, he couldn’t help but move first, seeing Anais quietly sitting while drying her hair.
What he had told her was not a lie. When he was near her, he wanted to hug and touch her. Rahil himself didn’t know he would enjoy being so close to someone.
‘It’s only Anais. I don’t want to be like this with anyone else.’
He probably thought that marriage had such a strong meaning to him. He had dreamed of an ideal family while looking at the Duke and Duchess of Calix. It was a dream he had hardly thought about after deciding to become an emperor.
‘Could it be possible with Anais?’
Rahil had such a thought, but he wondered if it was an unfair plan for Anais. After all, she wanted to have a concubine.
They had already written a contract, and according to its contents, Rahil couldn’t refuse if she chose a concubine. Even though the original imperial law allowed the emperor to freely approve the queen’s concubine.
‘Why did I make such a contract?’
If he thought about why… it seemed to be for marrying Anais. If he didn’t do so, she would avoid marrying him and would probably marry some other bastard.
Thinking of Angelica made his heart heavy, but Rahil put off the thought. Now she was also on her honeymoon and he thought he didn’t need to think about her.
He briefly remembered meeting her at the reception ball, but he couldn’t remember her face. Rahil even casually forgot that fact.
