Emilio glanced at Anais, causing Rahil to take a step closer. Emilio quickly raised his hands and backed away.
“No! No! The ring, we should remove the Empress’s ring first, right? So, it’s right to check that one too!”
“Your Majesty, I understand your concern for Her Majesty the Empress, but…”
From a subject’s perspective, it would make sense to prioritize the Emperor over the Empress if the artifact could be removed. However, when Sion suggested this, Rahil’s face turned icy.
“I can protect myself if necessary. The Empress is different.”
“But it’s a dragon’s artifact. We don’t know what kind of dangers…”
“My decision is final. Don’t make me repeat myself.”
Rahil’s stern response silenced Sion, who was trying to persuade him. Anais remained silent, her expression complicated.
Emilio, sensing Rahil’s impatience, approached Anais. Without a word, she extended her left hand with the ring. As before, Emilio cast a spell, projecting the magical formations embedded in the artifact into the air.

Emilio’s eyes widened as he examined the intricate magical formations. His mouth hung open, and he couldn’t tear his eyes away from the display.

“What is it?”
Arken asked, but Emilio, catching Rahil’s gaze, kept silent. Anais continued looking away, her hand outstretched.
“Well… uh… it’s better if you don’t know. Looking at this, it doesn’t seem immediately dangerous, but… Your Majesty, can we speak privately?”
Emilio hastily copied the magical formations and dismissed the projection. Rahil agreed, and the two left the conference room and headed to a nearby room. Emilio was sweating profusely.

Rahil remained silent, his expression murderous as if he could kill someone at any moment.
A servant opened the door and quickly stepped back. Emilio glanced at the servant as he swiftly closed the door behind them.
‘Better keep a safe distance.’
But with Rahil being a sword master, any distance could be closed in an instant. Emilio rubbed his sore neck and spoke.
“First… I didn’t do this intentionally. I’m really sorry.”
“What did you find out?” Rahil asked, barely containing his anger. Emilio discreetly cast a defensive spell and took a deep breath.
“The magic on your ring is linked to the Empress’s. The Empress’s ring has two spells. One enhances sensitivity twofold…”
Crack.
There was a terrifying sound as Rahil clenched his fist. Emilio turned pale, realizing he had never seen Rahil this angry before.
“The other spell induces s*xual ar*usal for 30 minutes at midnight…”
Although this was also quantified, Emilio didn’t mention it, fearing Rahil might kill him if he did.

Emilio, who was instantly grabbed by the collar again, shut his mouth. It was still a better situation than when his neck was being squeezed earlier.
