The Succubus, The Priest, and His Fall Into Lustful Heat - Chapter 35
To clarify first, Payne hadn’t intended to ask that question.
He thought Ashtel couldn’t possibly like him. After all, they hadn’t known each other long, and who could hold affection for someone who had forced himself upon her?
He assumed her apparent affection stemmed from their physical interaction.
It was her first time, after all, and it seemed that he too was noticeably affected by it—though he had no memory of it.
But as a man who had renounced worldly attachments, committed to a lifetime of service to Medialle and Katzel, he had resolved not to be swayed by the pleasures in front of him and to focus on his spiritual discipline….
‘Embarrassingly, I had asked an inappropriate question.’
It was absurd just thinking about it.
Suddenly ‘is it good’? Is his body good? Payne’s face turned an uncomfortable shade of red.
This was his first time making such a mistake.
Caught off-guard by his blunder and wondering how to make it up, Ashtel shyly responded.
“Yes.”
“…yes?”
“I like it.”
Ashtel’s face seemed to bloom.
Payne felt like spring had returned as he widened his eyes. He blinked several times, his eyelashes fluttering before he awkwardly cleared his throat and looked away.
Seizing the moment, Ashtel added softly,
“Father Payne can’t imagine how much I like it.”
This left Payne even more disoriented.
Despite blaming himself for his foolishness, he couldn’t help but blurt out again,
“…You mean my body?”
“Yes!”
Her simple answer caused Payne’s brows to furrow even more.
‘Payne is so adorable!’
Thought Ashtel. She was so delighted that she was not sure what to do. While she wanted to say she liked him for more than just his body, she hesitated to confess openly.
What if she got rejected and crushed this love?
Only then did Ashtel realize why humans feared confessions.
‘But he doesn’t seem to hate my advances?’
From Payne’s reactions, it seemed not only did he not hate her advances, but he also appeared embarrassed by them. Even though she had said blatantly that she liked his body.
When Ashtel didn’t say anything but just smiled and observed his expression, Payne hesitantly spoke up.
“Perhaps, the Maid, you…”
“Yes!”
“…need a confession.”
“What?!”
She had thought he liked her, but maybe she was mistaken.
‘I’ve confessed plenty already!’
Worried that he might start talking about sin and guilt, Ashtel quickly changed the subject.
“How are you feeling right now, Father Payne?”
“I’m fine.”
“Really? How about the area I touched yesterday?”
“That is…”
As Ashtel stepped forward, Payne stepped back twice the distance. Instead of getting closer, they seemed to move apart more.
“It was your first time there, wasn’t it?”
“…”
He swallowed hard to keep from blurting out that it was indeed his first time, he broke into a sweat. As Ashtel pointed out, the ‘spot’ she had stirred was far from fine. It was not fine at all, because….
‘It was becoming increasingly hot.’
The more time he spent with Ashtel, the hotter it got.
Payne couldn’t hide his embarrassment and averted his gaze, his ash-gray hair trembling slightly.
Ashtel’s eyes flickered briefly like the setting sun, and he took a deep breath before insisting.
“I really am fine.”
“Really? Truly?”
“Yes. So please don’t worry about me. Haven’t I refused you several times already?”
But Ashtel was not one to be easily dissuaded.
The unmistakable scent of a hot e–ction wafted from him. Her piercing gaze seemed to lengthen as Payne flinched.
More precisely, his dampening front and increasingly sticky back area twitched.
“…!”
Payne clenched his jaw as cold sweat streamed down his back and his breathing grew heavy.
‘Despite being so far apart…’
He had deliberately come to this prayer room, but it was futile.
His body seemed to betray him.
Or perhaps she was the problem. Uniquely, whenever he was in Ashtel’s presence, his descent into pleasure got steeper.
Payne swallowed hard and continued.
“Even if I suffer like yesterday, I’d rather you didn’t help.”
“What? But what if something goes wrong?”
“Even so, this is my issue to handle, about my own body.”
That’s not it, she couldn’t explain that it might actually kill him.
