The Succubus, The Priest, and His Fall Into Lustful Heat - Chapter 4
Or perhaps it was his porcelain-like skin and the rosy hue of his soft lips that captivated her.
One thing was clear: he was strikingly handsome and definitely Ashtel’s type. She forgot all about her struggles and stared at him, mesmerized.
It was then that the handsome man spoke.
“It’s wrong to torment a creature that cannot speak. Have you forgotten the teachings of Katzel?”
His words were not directed at Ashtel. He turned a considerate yet indifferent gaze towards the children who had thrown stones at her.
“We’re sorry, Father Payne.”
“We won’t do it again…”
So his name was Payne.
Payne, Payne.
Ashtel repeated his name to herself. It sounded good and fit well with her feelings for him. The fact that he had even helped her made her heart flutter even more.
Was that why it happened?
‘Uh-oh…?’
As quickly as the blood rushed to her head, her vision dimmed.
“Peep!”
Ashtel collapsed into Payne’s arms, fainting.

Fortunately, when she regained consciousness, it wasn’t the unpleasant children before her, but Payne.
“It might take a few days for you to recover.”
He had not only treated her with utmost care but had also been feeding her by hand and began to talk to her with a smile.
“You’re always so still. Don’t you want to go outside?”
Payne seemed to be a man of few words by nature. His manner and tone with other humans made that quite clear. However, he appeared to make an exception for a cute baby animal, showing a neat and gentle smile to Ashtel while whispering affectionately.
“Your feathers are beautiful. That’s probably why the kids took an interest in you.”
‘Yeah, I like you too.’
“Do you think you could fly now? Want to try moving around?”
‘Let’s be together forever.’
Though it was a case of wishful thinking as their desires differed, their pleasant days together continued.
“Come here. I’ll give you a bath.”
‘Eek, how cheeky!’
“You must be feeling refreshed.”
Payne took care of Ashtel whenever he had time.
He gently swept through her feathers with lukewarm water and came to talk to her every time he was done with his duties at Medialle.
‘Payne, Payne!’
“You’re quite smart, aren’t you? Did you know I would come?”
‘I could smell you!’
Although she had been cared for by many sisters, this warm touch was something new to her, and without realizing it, she had stayed by his side for a week.
Ashtel was so taken by the time spent with Payne that she wished time could stand still until one of her eleven succubus sisters came looking for her, worried because Ashtel had not returned.
“Sue, are you out of your mind? What are you doing here?”
Her older sister Hella exclaimed as she secretly opened the cage.
“This is Medialle, the most famous sanctuary of Katzel in the empire!”
“I know that.”
“If you knew, you should have left earlier. And why do you look like that?”
“Sisters are tormenting me!”
She wanted to say more, but Hella cut her off sharply.
“We can’t stay here long. We are demons. We need to leave as soon as possible.”
She was right.
However, Ashtel had grown too fond of the week she spent with Payne. His gentle voice, his affectionate touch, and the peaceful days spent in his quiet bedroom.
‘…It’s a pity.’
Should she, a demon, even be feeling this way?
It was the first time she had found herself liking a priest of such upright character, and also the first time she had enjoyed a bedroom devoid of carnal pleasures.
Ashtel looked back at Medialle several times, but under Hella’s urging, she finally left the comfortable cage.
All the way back to the demon realm, Hella’s nagging continued.
As soon as they arrived home, the other ten sisters began scolding Ashtel.
“How could you go somewhere without even knowing where you were flying?”
“Do you know how much we looked for you?”
“Did you meet any knights?”
“You were almost annihilated!”
With over ten sisters, the scolding was exceptionally lengthy.
As the sisters took turns bombarding Ashtel, they realized she was letting their words go in one ear and out the other, and they raised their eyebrows.
“Hey, Ashtel. Are you even listening to us?”
“Uh-huh.”
Could that really be the case? Ashtel’s mind was filled with something else.
The memory of Payne stroking her head, speaking to her gently. She even recalled watching him undress, while she hid her true demonic nature under the guise of a cute little bird, which made her nosebleed.
“I want to go back to the human world.”
She couldn’t stand it any longer.
Without even bothering to wipe the blood streaming from her nose, Ashtel suddenly stood up, causing her succubus sisters to stare at her in shock.
Only Hella, who roughly knew the situation, heaved a big sigh and pressed her forehead.
“I’ll live there for a while!”
This marks the beginning of the story behind the heat.
