The Succubus, The Priest, and His Fall Into Lustful Heat - Chapter 41
Sniffing the air again, Ashtel confirmed her suspicions.
‘He’s standing up completely.’
She felt it was dangerous to leave him in such a state.
If Payne loses control due to his heat.
‘It could be life-threatening.’
Moreover, if he was overwhelmed by pleasure and touched someone else as he had done to her before, it would be intolerable.
‘Payne is mine.’
Naive as she might be, Ashtel was still a succubus.
And succubi do not share their prey.
‘Alright, let’s follow him.’
With that thought, she moved to go after him, but an armored arm suddenly blocked her path.
“What?”
Turning her head, she saw Duvalkan smiling that distinctive, curled smile.
He had mentioned earlier that he had business with Payne. Was that why he was stopping her?
“I told you, you shouldn’t interfere.”
“Am I interfering just by following?”
“Probably.”
While stroking his chin, he muttered,
“I should have visited him earlier. I’ll need to see him later.”
“…Really?”
So his blocking her wasn’t without reason.
‘And there was an elder priest with him.’
Above all, Payne had headed toward the main sanctuary of Katzel, a place reserved for special ceremonies.
Something about a hymn ceremony seemed quite significant.
Still irked by the human who dared to block her path, Ashtel openly displayed her annoyance as she brushed Duvalkan’s arm aside.
Fortunately, he stepped back without resistance.
“So, Miss Maid, do you have more tasks after this?”
“Yes, probably…”
“I saw you were trying to go somewhere else earlier.”
“That was to find Payne… wait, don’t you have business?”
“He just left.”
Ignoring Duvalkan’s persistent attempts to stick around, Ashtel focused on the direction Payne had disappeared to.
Understanding he had important matters to attend to was one thing, but that then.
‘He really shouldn’t be getting an e–ction, should he?’
She had never heard of this hymn ceremony, but if it wasn’t restricted to only men or only women, it implied both genders would be together at the same place.
Then, the heat would come to Payne in a moment.
‘….Wait, if I don’t follow Payne in the guise of a maid, wouldn’t that solve it?’
Ashtel chewed her lip thoughtfully before lifting her head with a resolved expression. Without saying a word, she started walking away. Duvalkan took a step forward with a puzzled look.
“I’m going to the restroom. Don’t follow me.”
“Ah, yes…”
He recalled the first time they met, she too said she had a stomach ache.
‘Wasn’t she not a maid back then?’
Duvalkan scratched the back of his head as he watched Ashtel’s retreating figure scurrying away.

In a deserted corridor, Ashtel quickly transformed into a rat.
‘Missing one maid won’t hurt, right?’
She had lived as an exemplary maid up till now; perhaps it was time to quit. After all, she had entered the temple to find Payne, not to be an exemplary maid.
‘I don’t want to serve Katzel anyway!’
From today, she’s a bad maid.
Ashtel shivered her body to relax her muscles tensed from hard labor and scurried away.
Luckily, no one noticed the white rat heading towards the main sanctuary. It blended in with the white marble, and since it was a busy day, no servant or maid had time to look at the floor.
Ashtel quickly entered the inside of the sanctuary and looked around.
“Joo!”
Just as she had hoped, she detected the familiar scent of essence.
It was a sweet and heavy scent of heat.
Sniffing to find the direction, she dashed towards a small room. And, unsurprisingly,
‘Gasp, Payne!’
He was holding a large book—big enough to kill a man—and staring at it intently, but he was sitting restlessly with the strong presence between his legs.
“…Phew.”
His breaths, occasionally escaping him, were hot.
Ashtel quickly realized he was at his limit.
‘He’s completely e–ct.’
Could he really proceed with the ceremony or whatever in this state?
As she circled anxiously below him, several maids appeared soon after.
‘What are they doing here?’
As soon as they appeared, there was a clear reason for her sharp sense of alertness. The maids fluttered their eyelashes rapidly at Payne, erupting in giggles in front of him.
“Joo?!”
Just as one might think not a single hair could be out of place, Payne covered his mouth and held his breath, lifting his head and furrowing his brow as if asking what the matter was.
