The Succubus, The Priest, and His Fall Into Lustful Heat - Chapter 69
After tidying up and waiting for Payne to regain consciousness, Ashtel realized that he wasn’t coming to his senses for quite some time.
‘Is this normal? Could something be wrong?’
She wondered if there might be an issue with his health, but she couldn’t be sure.
‘I really shouldn’t stay here much longer…’
Left with no choice, she decided to find a knight to help move him back to his room. Fortunately, she quickly encountered a familiar knight and returned to the bathhouse…
“Father?!”
Only to discover that Payne was gone.
Panic set in as she frantically searched every corner, including the tubs, but he was nowhere to be found. Though relieved that he had regained consciousness, she was worried because his condition still wasn’t stable. Where could he have gone?
Anxiously, she rushed outside and, thankfully, was able to track him down quickly. He had already returned to his room.
‘He must have woken up and felt uneasy when I wasn’t there.’
She scolded herself for making Payne anxious. But it was short-lived as she hurried to explain what had happened earlier. However, Ashtel was once again taken aback.
‘…I’m sorry, but I’m fine now,’
Payne dismissed her.
It wasn’t unusual for him to push her away, and she was used to a certain level of rejection. But this time, it was different.
After almost teetering on intercourse, his refusal to even look at her was more than just a simple denial.
‘B-but, Father, please, just a moment!’
‘I’m sorry.’
‘Father! Payne!’
No matter how much she knocked on his door, there was no response. She even waited outside, but he postponed all his duties and stayed locked in his room.
“This is unbelievable…”
In the end, Ashtel had no choice but to wait for Payne in vain before finally leaving for the day.
“How does this make any sense?!”
“No, it doesn’t.”
“Why is he acting like this? Did he like it so much that it messed with his head?”
“That could be it.”
Now, as the sky began to take on the color of Ashtel’s eyes at dusk, she wandered the streets instead of heading straight back to her hideout, the cottage.
“Your answers are so half-hearted, Sis!”
“Oh, I didn’t mean it that way.”
With Moablon.
‘I didn’t expect things to turn out like this…’
Ashtel sighed deeply, gripping Moablon’s hand tightly as her sister curiously looked around.
Even now, her older sister, who still enjoys pretending to be a child, was swinging her arms playfully, looking like a little girl around six or seven years old.
“Wow, Sue, look over there! They’re eating clouds!”
“Sis, that’s called cotton candy.”
“Candy made from cotton? How do they eat cotton?”
Moablon chattered away about how such things didn’t exist a hundred years ago and marveled at how humans even figured out how to eat cotton.
She noticed that Ashtel’s mood wasn’t improving and pouted slightly.
“Sue, aren’t you having fun? It’s just the two of us out on a rare outing.”
“It’s fun, but…”
“You’re that worried about your human? He’s just a priest, isn’t he?”
Moablon’s amber eyes gleamed intensely for a moment before softening.
“It’s fine to like humans, but you can’t like them more than you like me, right?”
“What?”
“Hmm? Sue, you wouldn’t, would you?”
“No, of course not…”
But right now, all she could think about was Payne. Honestly, if her sisters got to know him, they’d probably end up liking him too. It bothered her how they looked down on him just because he was human.
‘Wait, am I even supposed to like him this much?’
Ashtel shook her head vigorously. Payne was hers—now and always would be.
“I like Sister Moa the most. Don’t worry.”
“Really?”
Moablon’s little jealousies were something Ashtel was used to, so there was no need to worry. After all, hadn’t Moablon and Hela always bickered with each other?
Hela, being the sister closest to Ashtel in age—though there was still a few hundred years between them—had a closer bond with her. But that was just a detail.
Ashtel loved all eleven of her sisters equally. It was a love that wouldn’t waver, just like her feelings for Payne.
“And I like you the most, Sue. My beautiful little sister!”
Moablon bounced up and down, trying to pat Ashtel on the head, and Ashtel smiled weakly, bending down to let her. People nearby gave them curious looks, but neither Ashtel nor Moablon paid any attention as they shared a moment of affection.
Maybe it was because she’d spent the whole day worrying about Payne.
“Sue, what does that human you like look like again?”
“He has gray hair and dark eyes. His hair reaches his shoulders.”
“And he’s pretty handsome, right?”
“Yeah, really, really handsome!”
“Then isn’t that him over there?”
