She had sliced open the abdomen to replace organs, but she hadn’t touched the heart or lungs.

Aseph was quite the talker, but most of what he said were words seemingly in a language that Bea couldn’t understand.

She almost scowled again but stopped herself, knowing it would prompt Aseph to kiss her brow and tell her not to mar her beautiful face. That always made her have goosebumps.

She was quite sure now what ‘goosebumps’ meant.

“I’ve never understood sayings about winds carrying away hearts or binding and soothing broken ones. But after meeting you, I finally understand.”

How does one speak so mysteriously? He was more difficult to understand than her master when they first met.

However, as often as she listened, she eventually came to understand her master, so perhaps she’d eventually understand Aseph too.

“…You were quite the wreck.”

“Yes. And you put me back together.”

Bea attempted to understand him by referring to that situation, and Aseph responded.

But the conversation felt oddly disconnected.

“A… Aseph.”

When Aseph pressed closer, Bea felt compelled to call his name.

She had been bothered by something hard against her thigh, so large she hadn’t realized what it was.

“Yes, Bea. Oh, I’m so happy. Do you know this is the first time you’ve called my name?”

That firmness twitched against her thigh, poking insistently. It was so forceful it felt like it might bruise her.

Aseph’s mouth dropped open, speechless.

Apparently, he was surprised. Bea was a bit surprised herself.

Aseph, his face flushed, seemed incredibly embarrassed.

“Do we really have to talk about this now…”

But Aseph stammered and eventually shook his head.

“Well, I mean… then, I…”

Aseph, who had been continuously uttering unfathomable words, stuttered like a malfunctioning machine when speaking these particular words.

“Do you want to check if it’s functioning… properly?”

“Okay.”

“I never thought this would work…”

Mumbling something Bea couldn’t hear, Aseph knelt down at the foot of the bed. He took off his shirt and started to remove his pants, then paused to look up.

“Would… Would you like to… to touch it, directly?”

Bea sat up, surveying Aseph, who knelt before her with a flushed face.

His body was always perfect: broad, soldier-like shoulders, and muscles firm and flushed. Yet, his waist was slender, making any attire look fashionable.

However, the huge scar on his side remained due to Aseph’s stubbornness. Ordinarily, she would have revisited that area, but now her attention was drawn elsewhere.

Below the navel, a prominent vein stood out on the crotch area. And beneath, the front of his pants bulged as if to burst. When she reached down to release the tension, something akin to a human forearm sprung out.

It was so forceful it smacked against Bea’s arm with a slap.

“…….”

Aseph, previously eloquent in coaxing Bea, now covered his face with both hands, utterly lost.

Between the light but slightly darker hair and his generally pale skin, an appendage hung that seemed alien to his body.

Its pigment was particularly intense compared to his skin tone. The shape was almost menacing, and while Bea had seen his member during the repairs, it was now alarmingly different.

Unlike the usual shape of a phallus, the glans of Aseph’s was pronounced, resembling an anchor more than anything.

And the s***t? Rather than a smooth pillar, it bulged in the middle, giving it a rugged appearance.

In short, what appeared ordinary at rest now looked like a foreign appendage of some other creature when aroused.

Bea traced its contours with her fingers and murmured.

“How uniquely shaped.”
