This Three-Year-Old Is A Villainess - Chapter 179
Hilda’s voice carried a powerful force.
It had an undeniable authority.
I couldn’t help but mentally applaud her.
Hilda, you’re so cool!
Thinking back to when I was younger, it was truly amazing.
‘This isn’t the time to get nostalgic.’
Abeno still hadn’t woken up despite all the commotion.
“Don’t… bad… kid… no…”
‘Poor thing.’
It would be better to make Abeno’s condition known to everyone.
“Hilda, go fetch my grandfather! Prince Abeno is under hypnosis!”
“What?”
“Tsk!”
Hilda gasped in surprise, while the servant’s face turned stiff.
As the maids hurried to move, the servant yelled,
“Stay still! If anyone moves even a little—!”
He seemed to be planning on using me as a hostage.
I quickly bit down hard on the servant’s arm.
“Argh!”
While he was startled, I immediately pulled away from him.
One of the maids behind Hilda quickly ran off to get help.
“Damn it! You brat!”
The servant glared at me fiercely, gritting his teeth.
After hesitating for a moment, he hurried over to Abeno, who was still under hypnosis.
He slung Abeno over his shoulder.
‘Well, at least he’s not trying to kill him.’
It was somewhat of a relief that he didn’t pull out a weapon, but it was still far from an ideal situation.
The servant, carrying Abeno, ran toward the window.
“Where do you think you’re going!”
I chased after him.
Maybe it was because I’d been running a lot today, but I was slower than usual.
I really need to exercise more regularly!
“Get lost!”
The servant tried to kick me, but Ombre clung to him, causing him to miss.
“Damn it!”
Cursing, the servant jumped out the window with Abeno on his back.
I quickly pulled out the whistle hanging around my neck.
Fweeeet!
Not long after, Ragon came flying towards me.
I always keep Ragon on standby around the duchy.
Plus, since he’d had his fill of grapes and rice in the garden earlier, there was no risk of him being late from foraging for food.
“Ragon! Over here!”
I followed the servant and jumped out the window.
As much as I love riding Ragon, I certainly didn’t want it to be for something like this.
I climbed onto Ragon’s back and steadied myself.
“That way!”
I tugged on Ragon’s fur to the left, and he flew in that direction.
I had only flown on Ragon’s back once before, but I hadn’t forgotten that thrilling experience.
I’ve always really, really loved taming and training magical beasts.
Why?
“Eek, get away from me, you monster!”
The servant panicked and ran frantically.
But it was useless.
‘No human can outrun a magical beast.’
Maybe a noble with a blessing for speed could escape, but no ordinary person could ever get away from me.
It’s said that the Steel Crow can fly at the same speed as a regular crow despite its massive size and iron feathers.
That means it can fly at a speed of 160 km/h.
Even if the servant had a head start, he wouldn’t have gotten far—just a few seconds difference.
Not a chance.
“Ragon, trip him up!”
Ragon followed my training perfectly.
He swooped down over the servant and threatened to pin him down with his sharp talons.
“S-Spare me! Ahh!”
The servant’s legs tangled as he crouched in fear.
Crash!
He fell to the ground, and Abeno, who had been slung over his shoulder, rolled away weakly.
Thud thud thud.
Seeing Abeno’s small body rolling like a ball, I immediately jumped off Ragon’s back and ran to him.
“Abeno!”
I held his limp body in my arms.
‘No major injuries.’
Thankfully, there was soft grass all around.
I had told Ragon to trip him up with that in mind.
While I was checking on Abeno, the fallen servant was cursing under his breath.
“You damn brat—!”
It was laughable how he limped toward me, trying to act threatening.
“What kind of trash hypnotizes a child and dares to open their filthy mouth toward me? You stink like garbage!”
“What did you just say?!”
He roughly grabbed my shoulder.
Ugh!
This guy sure is quick to resort to violence when he’s angry.
I bet he has a history of being violent.
I smirked and explained,
“Just so you know, unless I tell Ragon to stay still, he’ll eat any human within 100 meters.”
To other people, you’re trash.
To Ragon, you’re just good protein.
“W-What?”
Just as he stuttered, about to say something—
Bang!
With a loud thud, the servant was slammed flat against the ground.
It was as if an invisible giant weight had crushed him.
