Towards the Winter Cabin of Serenity and Madness, Cinderella Runs - Chapter 84
“Kyden, you’ve lost weight.”
“It’s from all the mental stress.”
Kyden paused as he was removing his pants and bent down to kiss Roel’s forehead. The sound of the kiss made Roel’s face turn red.
“…I’m sorry.”
Kyden’s mood lifted with her timid apology. He thought to himself that if she didn’t rely solely on him, maybe he could earn some sympathy. Perhaps this would help him win her heart completely, a thought he entertained as he placed one knee on the bed.
As he pulled down his pants to his pelvis, his e***t member became visible. His lower abdomen was tightly pulled.
“It hurts.”
“It… it hurts? Where?”
“Here. It’s been a long time.”
Kyden pointed to his e***t member, which was visibly straining. There was a small amount of fluid at the tip.
‘Come to think of it, there was that mercenary who complained about feeling like his balls would burst from not having it for a while…’
Do men experience problems when they go without it for too long? Maybe that’s why they act so desperately. Roel, misinterpreting the situation, reached out to grasp Kyden’s member.
“I’ll touch it.”
Roel’s small hands couldn’t fully encircle Kyden’s member. As her small, soft hand gripped it, Kyden’s muscles twitched like a snake.
The stimulation was almost too much after such a long time. He tightened his abdomen to suppress the pleasure.
“Ugh, have you done this with anyone else?”
“No? No, I haven’t!”
“There were many men at the inn who liked you.”
“L-liking me? That was more like harassment. And I turned them all down…”
Kyden grabbed Roel’s shoulders and pushed her down. He climbed on top of her and locked eyes with her intensely.
His gaze seemed to be trying to determine whether her words were true or false.
It wasn’t that he didn’t trust Roel.
But she was delicate and weak, and he thought she might have had trouble fending off persistent advances. Also, Roel seemed to enjoy s-x quite a bit. Even on days when she wasn’t feeling well, she would burrow into his arms. Despite being exhausted from fulfilling his desires, she would come back the next day, eager.
Her innocent and eager demeanor was terribly lovely. Imagining her being like that with others made his head feel hot.
He began to understand more of those who obsessively controlled their wives out of their own inadequacy and insecurities the more beautiful and kind their wife was. Though he had no intention of mimicking such despicable behavior.
“Really, you didn’t?”
“Really, I didn’t.”
“Why? Was there a specific reason not to?”
Why didn’t she? Why hadn’t she met another man after abandoning him so harshly?
Kyden was unable to suppress his curiosity. Roel looked up with eyes full of injustice and sorrow with tears welling in her eyes.
“….I’m not that kind of woman.”
“I know.”
“So, please don’t ask such questions.”
Roel sniffled. It was hurtful and distressing to think that Kyden saw her that way. She had been treated like this countless times while working at the inn.
Casual, rude attention that was either playful or dismissive—was that something you could even call affection? No matter how much it was packaged as up, it couldn’t be.
The so-called affection disguised as interest and harassment had made Roel feel shame and torment.
“I…”
Kyden’s pupils quivered when he saw Roel’s tears. He was anxious because she was so lovable, but he had no intention of causing her pain.
He kissed Roel’s trembling lips.
“I won’t ask anymore.”
He backed off, suppressing his doubts and anxieties. He started a slow, tender touch, pressing his lips against her heated cheeks, slender neck, and collarbone.
Roel felt the rising warmth as she looked down at Kyden’s head.
‘Even though he’ll continue to doubt…’
She knew that the affectionate and indifferent Kyden had a deeply ingrained flaw in his character.
Since the day she decided to escape from the cabin, he had harbored persistent mistrust whenever she went out, even though she promised never to leave again. His anxiety was unshakeable.
When would she be able to show him complete love? When would she gain his absolute trust?
‘I need to do better.’
Roel turned the blame onto herself. Kyden’s anxiety was due to her escaping from the cabin, and his distrust was because she worked at the inn.
So she resolved to do better in the future and embraced him.
“Kyden, it’s okay now. Just go ahead.”
