Trapped in a Secret Room With the Magnificent Duke - Chapter 28
Kadrion was determined to confront the woman about why she was lying in the Duke and Duchess’s bed that night.
As he was about to step toward her with a furrowed brow, he noticed Reyna watching him from a distance.
“…….”
Kadrion clicked his tongue in frustration. With Reyna keeping an eye on him, he knew it was best not to engage with another woman. He was stuck in a difficult situation, feeling increasingly frustrated.
At that moment, a young gentleman he knew handed a bouquet to the woman and began speaking to her.
“Oh my goodness…!”
The woman’s eyes widened in surprise. Kadrion raised an eyebrow.
“……?”
The voice was slightly hushed yet high-pitched, clearly different from Reyna’s voice. As Kadrion watched the woman smile while inhaling the bouquet’s fragrance, a guard asked him,
“Duke, are you concerned about that dancer?”
Kadrion, initially planning to dismiss it, changed his mind.
“A dancer?”
“Yes. It’s a troupe that recently came to the Dukedom. Apparently, the dancers from this foreign troupe are very popular, making it hard to get tickets.”
Kadrion, narrowing his eyes at the woman, decided to turn around and investigate the dancer’s recent activities immediately.

That evening, Kadrion returned to the Duke’s estate, still unable to resolve his frustrating situation. His thoughts were consumed by Reyna.
‘Why…?’
For the past two days, Reyna had followed him until just before he returned to the estate. But today, she seemed to have given up midway and gone back, specifically while Kadrion was distracted by the foreign dancer.
“Haa…”
Kadrion sighed lightly, frowning. He wondered if Reyna was distracted by the sensual dancer’s revealing costume. It felt like the situation was only getting worse.
“Welcome back, Duke.”
As Kadrion passed Bennet, who bowed deeply, and entered the hall, he instinctively turned his head toward the upstairs couple’s bedroom where Reyna was.
“……!”
Seeing the woman disappearing toward the couple’s bedroom on the second floor, Kadrion was jolted with shock.
‘Why is she here…?’
He couldn’t understand why the dancer he had seen earlier at Saint Street was now in his own mansion. In his surprise, Kadrion accidentally dropped the bouquet he had intended for Reyna.
“D-Duke…?”
Bennet and the nearby servants all looked alarmed at Kadrion’s reaction. Kadrion quickly composed himself and said,
“My hand slipped.”
With that, he hurried up the stairs to the second floor, speeding towards the couple’s bedroom at the end of the hallway. Sure enough, inside the bedroom was the same foreign dancer he had seen earlier at Saint Street, dressed in a very revealing slip that barely covered her body.
“Damn it!”
Kadrion cursed under his breath, scanning the room anxiously. Fortunately, he didn’t sense any other presence in the room.
“Come with me.”
Kadrion grabbed the dancer’s wrist and pulled her along. Despite his rough handling, the dancer offered little resistance as he led her into a small dressing room connected to the bedroom.
Kadrion quickly locked the door behind them and struggled to suppress his boiling anger.
“……”
He managed to regain his composure quickly. It was crucial not to make any noise that might alert Reyna if she was to enter the bedroom later.
Just as Kadrion was about to turn toward the dancer,
“……Kadrion?”
He heard Reyna’s voice from behind him.
“……?”
Kadrion narrowed his eyes and turned toward the dancer. She looked back at him with frightened eyes. The woman was definitely the same dancer from earlier at Saint’ Street and recently in the couple’s bedroom.
However, her voice unmistakably belonged to Reyna.
“……Reyna?”

“Ta-da!”
The sound effect, both trivial and cute, came from Diego’s mouth. However, the result was far from trivial.
“Wow! Young Master Diego, you’re amazing!”
The nanny clapped her hands enthusiastically and praised Diego, causing his small shoulders, which had been slightly hunched while showing off his modest magic, to lift with pride.
But it wasn’t just the nanny who was amazed by Diego’s magic. Reyna was also taken aback.
Though she had hoped for some exceptional magical talent from Diego, being Kadrion’s blood, she never expected him to possess such skill at just seven years old.
“How is it, Wife!”
Diego, with a slightly smug and adorable expression, looked up at Reyna.
“Really amazing, Diego!”
Reyna responded with exaggerated surprise, showering Diego with praise.
