Villain, Let Me Touch You! - Chapter 21
“You need to take your medication.”
I could hear Ebony’s voice clearly.
I’m under the care of my master? What an unexpected honor.
I snapped back to reality.
“Get the medicine.”
Helios held me in his arms.
“I-I’ll do it!”
“I’ll do it.”
Jamie stepped forward, but Helios held her back.
“Rienna, open your mouth.”
Helios touched my lips with the vial. I parted my lips like a baby bird accepting food from its mother.
But I guess I wasn’t doing it properly.
Helios’s thumb skimmed over my clam-like lips.
“It’s completely loosened, Your Highness. I’ll handle it.”
I was completely mistaken in thinking I was feeling better.
Ebony crossed her arms and stepped toward me.
“Stop,” said Helios, restraining her.
Your Highness, I have to take my medicine, I don’t want to be sick…
I silently communicated these thoughts to him.
“Rienna, this is treatment. Do you understand?” Helios whispered in my ear and poured the medicine into my mouth.
Then he cupped my cheek with one hand and pressed his lips to mine. His moistness touched my dry lips.
“Hmph…”
The medicine trickled into my slightly parted lips. I was too startled to even consider swallowing. Then Helios wrapped his arms around the back of my head and pressed his lips deeper.
“Mmm…”
He was clearly trying to administer the medicine, yet strangely, I felt like I was being devoured. Forgetting momentarily how to breathe, I instinctively whimpered.
Helios parted his lips for a moment.
“You have to swallow.”
He used his fingertip to prompt me to close my jaw, but despite his efforts, the medicine continued to seep out.
“Give me the medicine again.”
Helios extended his hand backward, his gaze fixated on my lips down to my chest, where the potion had trickled.
“Y-Your Highness… I-I’ll do it.” Jamie’s voice trailed off as she realized what she had just seen.
“Don’t make me repeat myself. Bring the bottle here.”
Jamie placed the medicine bottle into Helios’s hand.
“You’re going to have to swallow it properly this time.” His gravelly voice was directed at me.
Helios unscrewed the cap with his teeth and poured the medicine into his mouth. Then he pressed his lips together again. This time his tongue probed deep inside me, his tongue touching my throat.
I swallowed, my throat opening and closing on its own accord in response to his stimulation. Still, he didn’t pull back. His tongue explored every corner of my mouth.
Saliva began to pool in my mouth. Only then did he suck my lips.
“Swallow.”
I realized that his actions were intended to make me drink every last drop in my mouth. Though authoritative, his voice was as tender as ever. I swallowed the saliva like an obedient puppy.
“Haah,” I breathed out.
“Well done.”
A large hand stroked my hair. It felt like my fever had subsided momentarily, only to surge again. My mind was foggy from the medication. Ebony must have mixed a sedative into the potion. Normally, I didn’t like being drugged to sleep, but in my current state of agony, I was beyond grateful.
Through my fading consciousness, I heard voices all around me.
“Everyone out, the patient needs to rest.”
At Helios’ command, there was a flurry of activity. Doors opened and closed and people filed out.
“Are you not leaving, Your Highness?” Vincenzo asked.
“I’m not.”
Someone tightly clasped my limp hand on the bed. The size of it, the way it wraps around my hand like a glove, the slightly chilled body temperature—I knew who it belonged to.
“Don’t go,” said Helios, still holding my hand.
Your Highness, you should go.
You need to rest too.
I couldn’t muster the words I wanted to say to him in the end.
