Villain, Let Me Touch You! - Chapter 71
Helios and Benz both imprinted with Chloe Dorian. And the person Kama supposedly imprinted with was also Chloe Dorian.
First, I need to confirm if it’s really Chloe’s name imprinted on Kama.
I thoroughly examined Kama’s body. Except for burn marks, his body was clean—although the burn marks looked relatively recent.
“What about the location?”
The burn marks were precisely above the collarbone. It was an unlikely location for an everyday burn. It was also very large, about the size of an adult woman’s palm. I could imagine how painful it must have been for him to get burned in that spot.
Why did he get burned there? I came up with several hypotheses. But there was one that seemed likely given the circumstances.
Were they trying to erase the imprint?
Certainly, Kama Jin told me that he had imprinted. However, there were no traces of it on his body. There were only burn marks and they were in a conspicuous location. It was something I could tell Nick, and he could begin his investigation by finding the person Kama imprinted on.
I lowered my hands in disappointment. I thought that by coming here, I would be able to clearly determine if Kama Jin had with Chloe or not. However, now I was left with even more questions. Without a way to confirm them, the commonality between Helios, Benz, and Kama also remained unclear.
This is getting complicated.
My head was pounding. Suddenly, I felt a real pain. It wasn’t a simple sensation; it felt like someone was smashing my head with a hammer and chisel.
Imprinting pain.
Why now, of all times! I had let my guard down since I had been holding hands with Helios all night yesterday.
I clutched my head, flinched in my seat, and then immediately collapsed.
“Ah, ah, ah, someone, Your Highness, help!”
I mumbled, forgetting that there was no one to hear me. I had learned the terrible pain of imprinting pain from experience many times over.
I would rather be dead.
The thought came involuntarily as I instinctively looked for something sharp, anything that could end this pain.
I wasn’t in my right mind. Even knowing it was something I shouldn’t do, I couldn’t control myself as I reached for the sharp object. I picked up the scalpel. Something that could cut cleanly through a man’s stomach.
I looked down at my wrist. I could see a clear line of blood on my thin, thin wrist.
Let’s get comfortable.
I shouldn’t have done that.
The pain intensified as right and wrong mingled.
The hand holding the scalpel trembled.
That’s when it happened.
“Rienna!”
Helios burst through the door of the morgue.

When Nick saw Helios stepping into the security guard, he thought he was the god of war.
The intensity of his presence was unparalleled. The Helios Nick had seen before was sharp but somewhat laid-back, carrying an image of a genius who liked to dabble in various things.
However, today was entirely different. With the Phoenix in hand, he appeared formidable enough to make even notorious criminals kneel before him. The impact of his presence was evident in how the previously restless criminals fell silent as Helios made his entrance.
“Where’s Rienna?” Helios asked, not sparing a glance for anything else, immediately focusing on Nick.
“She’s in the morgue.”
“The morgue? Why would Rienna be in that nasty place?”
“Well, she’s cooperating with the investigation…”
Before Nick could finish his sentence, Helios had already moved, heading straight for the morgue.
“What are you doing? Come on, follow us.”
Vincenzo tapped Nick on the shoulder as he stood there, dazed. Nick scrambled to his feet and followed them. But he didn’t catch up to Helios until they reached the morgue.
At the front of the room was the coroner. He had taken a short break and was waiting for Nick to join him inside. Being just another coroner, he didn’t recognize Helios right away.
“Who…”
“Open the door now.”
