Villain, Let Me Touch You! - Chapter 74
Rienna’s face turned pale as fragmented memories began to resurface.
“Do you remember?”
Helios cupped Rienna’s cheeks, making eye contact with her dazed expression, and gently pressed his forehead against hers.
“Your Highness, what did I do?”
Rienna was terrified. The fact that her will was overtaken by the pain and that she had come close to taking her own life was both astonishing and frightening. It was hard not to think negatively about it.
“What if I do this again?”
Rienna looked up at Helios, her eyes shaking like an earthquake. His eyes, on the other hand, were clear.
“That won’t happen, because I’ll never let it come to that.”
“How so? The pain is getting worse. Even holding hands with Your Highness doesn’t have the same effect anymore!”
Helios teasingly gave Rienna’s lips a quick peck. Rienna’s eyes widened in surprise.
“If holding hands doesn’t work, we can try something else.”
“Something else…”
Helios leaned closer and closer, his lips brushing against hers. He looked down at Rienna’s lips, and his long eyelashes cast a shadow over his intense eyes filled with desire.
A desire she couldn’t even begin to fathom.
Helios whispered, “What I just did.”
Helios’s hand slid up her skirt. Instinctively, Rienna’s thighs clenched as she realized he was about to touch her name.
He didn’t force her legs apart. He simply caressed her smooth thigh, waiting for her permission.
“It still hurts,” Rienna spoke momentarily, her body still feeling like a fiery furnace.
If she was to survive until they returned to the palace, they would have to continue the healing.
As Helios pressed on Rienna’s thigh, she gradually relaxed, giving in to his touch.
“Good call,” Helios whispered, kissing Rienna’s forehead before moving his hand.
She held onto his collar. She remembered the sensations she’d felt when he’d touched her imprint. The tingling in her lower abdomen, the shivers that made her curl her toes – Rienna bit her lower lip to stifle her reactions.
But it was useless in the face of Helios’s touch.
“Ah…” a new, peculiar moan escaped Rienna’s lips.
Helios paused. He looked down at Rienna for a moment, then up at the ceiling and blew out a cloudy breath. Her every response was teasing him, inflaming his desire.
Helios realized this was dangerous. He needed to expedite the treatment and distance himself from her. Otherwise, she might notice the changes in him.
“Rienna, do you think we should continue what we were doing earlier?”
“What?”
“The kiss.”
Rienna’s lashes fluttered. Her watery eyes turned to Helios. She examined her reflection in Helios’s eyes and understood why he kissed her, why he wanted to.
She looked a mess, and Helios felt sorry for her. He was a good person, especially to his people. But should she just go along with what he suggested?
“Are you okay with it, Your Highness? Doing something like that…kissing me?”
Rienna was cautious. Any intimacy they shared belonged by all rights to Chloe—it was what the novel intended, after all. And this touching was supposed to be for medical purposes.
So Rienna hesitated. She didn’t want Helios to associate kissing with mere therapy. She wanted Helios to have everything he deserved—love, intimacy that was filled with that love, and even the comfort of a loving home and the security that comes with it. Wishing for one’s favorite character to lead a complete life is every fan’s desire.
“I can do more than this. No, I want to do more. I want to do everything I can with you. So, shall we kiss? Let me do it.”
How could she resist such a sweet voice and affectionate gaze? Rienna slipped her fingers into the back of Helios’s hair.
Helios pulled Rienna closer, sealing her lips with his. The second kiss was rougher than the first, more promiscuous. And sensual enough to make her forget it was therapy.
Helios persistently explored Rienna with his tongue, causing her to tremble, her toes to curl, and her moans to become more frequent.
Yet, he showed no signs of stopping.
