Violet Zerotta's Hasty Marriage - Chapter 17
It was the first time in her life Violet had felt such a sensation, and in that moment, she couldn’t stop Aldrick’s soft tongue from slipping between their joined lips.
It was a very strange feeling.
It’s like… a snail crawling over my lips.
She hadn’t even managed to close her eyes—Violet felt utterly flustered. All she could do was stare at Aldrick’s face as he kissed her, eyes closed and brow gently furrowed, while her heart pounded in her chest.
What had once been a tickling flutter in her belly now stirred violently, like a giant butterfly thrashing its wings. The heat coursing through her veins had reached her face, turning her cheeks bright red.
Before she realized it, Aldrick’s tongue had fully entered her mouth, tangling with hers every time she tried to retreat.
There was no force or pressure, and yet Violet couldn’t shake the feeling that something was chasing her.
He was asking something of her, and she was in the position of having to give him that something—but she didn’t know what it was, and that frustrated her.
Before she knew it, their embrace had deepened. His large body had nestled firmly between her thighs. With one arm wrapped around her waist, Aldrick gently stroked her back as if trying to soothe her.
Yet he, too, looked visibly tense. That tension seemed to transfer into her as well, and Violet’s body trembled in response.
He didn’t pull away, nor did he stop his tongue. The wet, ticklish sensation that had at first felt strange now heated her head as well.
Realizing that she was sharing such a deep kiss with Aldrick made the foreign sensations feel almost pleasant.
After all, this was the most fundamental expression of affection. Violet had no objection to receiving her husband’s love.
She relaxed a little and carefully rested her hands on Aldrick’s broad shoulders.
Perhaps thinking she was trying to push him away, Aldrick pulled back slightly to read her expression.
But when she instead tugged on his shoulders and drew him back into a kiss, he let out a harsh breath.
“Haa… Violet…”
Reading her gesture as permission, Aldrick seemed to suddenly shed his restraint. It was as if the tension that had bound him was finally released, and he resolved to thoroughly explore her lips.
Positioned slightly lower than her, he suddenly straightened up and sat on the edge of the bed. Then, in one swift motion, lifted Violet and set her atop his lap. It happened so fast that she didn’t even realize what was going on at first.
Violet, now sitting calmly with her arms around his neck, received another deep kiss from Aldrick. His thick arms wrapped tightly around her in a firm embrace, as if he had no intention of ever letting go.
She hadn’t thought a kiss could get any deeper than before—so now, Violet began to panic a little.
Why… why is this getting so intense all of a sudden? Is this going to stop at some point?
Whereas moments ago his tongue had been slowly exploring her mouth, now it boldly revealed its hidden desire, teasing and playing with her soft tongue and the flesh inside her mouth.
Hot breath mixed and tongues tangled. Violet barely managed to keep up with the kiss. She had no chance to breathe, no time even to swallow.
“A-Aldrick… I can’t breathe…”
She barely managed to gasp the words between parted lips, but it didn’t seem to reach him.
Fortunately, Aldrick didn’t kiss her lips again. Instead, he now focused on leaving gentle kisses along her forehead, cheeks, ears, and nape.
“Violet… Violet…”
Each time he called her name, it sent a shiver through her entire body, as if something invisible was tightening around her.
“I’m going to undo your dress buttons now. Don’t be startled.”
As he whispered in her ear amidst his storm of kisses, Violet could only blink in confusion.
Undo what? My dress buttons? Why?
He was the one who seemed more absorbed in the moment, and yet she was the one who couldn’t think straight.
“I’m sorry… I’m so sorry, Violet. You probably don’t even know how grateful I am to you right now…”
His words were broken up as he kissed along her ear, neck, and collarbone between unfastening her buttons.
With every whisper and every brush of his lips, Violet could only gasp like a fish out of water.
With each soft pop of a button, her bodice loosened further—and it made her feel more exposed than ever. Soon, he had undone them all and pulled the dress down past her shoulders.
Now, only a thin undergarment and chest wrap remained on her upper body.
“To think you spent your time making a shroud for me while I was gone… and had those kinds of thoughts… I just… I really…”
He muttered like someone who had lost his mind. Then, as if in apology, he kissed her exposed white shoulder.
“Now that I’ve come back alive, don’t think that way anymore. I won’t leave your side. I’ll never leave you alone again. I want you to feel that I’m alive. And I want to feel you too…”
