Violet Zerotta's Hasty Marriage - Chapter 19
He kept whispering apologies, telling Violet to relax and release the tension in her body, but once fear had taken hold of her, her body wouldn’t comply so easily.
The pain of being split in two. The searing agony deep inside, the blood flowing freely. Vague memories and things she had once overheard came back to her like a nightmare.
And so, the two had to struggle quite a bit for a while.
Violet thought Aldrick would give up soon. Was it really something that needed to be done with so much effort? Even if this proved impossible, couldn’t they just remain a loving couple?
But Aldrick eventually succeeded. In some ways, it could even be called a success.
He didn’t tear her body in two, he didn’t make her bleed profusely, and he didn’t make her cry out in pain.
Though the deep, indescribable place inside her stung and ached terribly, perhaps because Aldrick had sufficiently prepared the way, there was no suffocating pain.
Even as time passed and she got more used to his size, the tightness never completely went away, but she gradually began to adjust to the feel of his body and movements.
The sharp pain she felt at first slowly faded as their bodies repeatedly came together. Eventually, Violet even thought she might understand a little what could be good about the act.
At the same time, though, it was hard to call it good or bad… It was just a vague feeling.
She had only barely stepped into this sensual experience, and with her body still unfamiliar with everything, that was her limit.
Just accepting Aldrick into herself had taken all her strength. So she had neither the room nor the presence of mind to feel anything more than that.
When she thought of Aldrick, who, once the way was opened, demanded her endlessly without restraint, Violet let out a small sigh.
To think that Aldrick—who had once been as passive as a sack of barley—had such passion in him.
Violet was a little surprised.
They had only spent a few days together, but she had thought she had a general grasp of who he was. Clearly, she was wrong.
The Aldrick from last night wasn’t the obedient man who came and went as she told him.
Even when she pleaded for him to stop, overwhelmed by the repeated acts and the strength of his movements, he didn’t let her go until the very end.
Still, she didn’t feel any resentment toward him. She wasn’t sure if that was because she genuinely wasn’t angry, or because she was simply too exhausted.
Her body, tormented all night, ached everywhere. Even a full day of hard labor wouldn’t have made her this tired.
Just what did you do to my body?
Last night’s events were truly… a world Violet had never known.
The one saving grace was that it wasn’t as horrible as she had feared.
Her wedding night with Aldrick had been incredibly awkward, embarrassing, and shamefully heated, but not unbearably painful or torturous.
And what she hadn’t expected was how pleasant it was to see Aldrick so overwhelmed with ecstasy.
He had clung to her like a man addicted, tirelessly pushing into her with passionate, relentless movements that… she decided not to think about anymore.
At the very least, his warm embrace had felt undeniably good. But if the point was to share body heat, wouldn’t a deep hug have been enough?
Last night’s act was far too exhausting on the body.
So Violet decided to take a neutral stance on this ‘duty’ between husband and wife.
<Not particularly bad, but not especially good, either.>
With that firm conclusion, Violet tucked the matter into a corner of her mind.
Anyway, we’ve made such a grand event of it, so nothing like that should happen again for a while. Right?
She thought vaguely. Violet had no idea how often such things occurred between couples.
A little later, sensing that Violet was awake, Aldrick—who had been sleeping with his arm wrapped around her waist—also opened his eyes.
He became aware of their naked, entangled bodies and blushed for no reason, then immediately pressed a kiss to Violet’s face.
It was a soft morning kiss, brushing her eyes and cheeks, but Violet sensed danger.
She could feel something rising against her belly.
Now she knew exactly what it was. It was that weapon-like part of him that had tormented her all night.
Why is this happening again?
Like a chick seeking its mother’s warmth, Aldrick kept trying to nuzzle into her, but Violet firmly pushed him away.
He looked a little disappointed, but it seemed he decided not to press any further.
“Shouldn’t we really be going now?”
She used that line to persuade Aldrick.
They were originally supposed to depart in the morning, but the sun was already high in the sky.
Even Aldrick couldn’t argue with that.
