When That Door Opens - Chapter 37
“Now, what should I do? Please explain in detail what you want.”
“Do I have to tell you everything?”
“Pardon?”
“You must have plenty of experience. Do I really have to explain every little thing? You didn’t receive just a few coins, did you? Figure it out yourself and do your best to satisfy me. I won’t lift a finger. Just do your best to satisfy me.”
With that, I lay down on the bed. My heart was pounding so hard it felt like it would burst. My blood was pumping so fast it felt like the worn ceiling was spinning.
I bit my lip and covered my eyes with the back of my hand. I couldn’t show my anxiety. I had to remain calm until the very end. I had to be the witch who, bored with countless men, finally reached out to a slave.
“Understood.”
After a long pause, he spoke in a tight voice full of suppressed emotion. Even without seeing his face, I knew he was furious.
Maybe it was because my eyes were closed, but my senses became extremely acute. The sound of him undressing made my fingertips twitch. My body felt like it was floating in the air. I felt anxious, scared, and on the verge of tears. I swallowed all those emotions.
“I will begin.”
After a moment, the straw mattress compressed as he climbed on top of me. With a rustle, my clothes began to shift slightly.
Since I was only wearing a thin nightgown, I felt his hand on my skin every time he undid a button.
I tensed my entire body. If I didn’t, I felt like I would jump up and cling to him, begging him to be gentle, to treat me delicately because I truly knew nothing.
Fortunately, I managed to control my body. I neither trembled nor clung to him. I just lay there, feeling the increasingly exposed skin, as if my breath were about to cease.
“Could you please lower your hands?”
“…What?”
“I need to untie the knot on your shoulder. Please lower your hands.”
In the silence, only the sound of our breathing could be heard. Slowly, I lowered my arms to my sides and managed to lift my eyelids. Without looking at me, he spoke.
“Thank you.”
“…Alright.”
For a moment, I worried that my tears might still be visible. Thankfully, enough time had passed for them to dry. Besides, he seemed uninterested in my feelings. It was clear that he just wanted to fulfill Astel’s tiresome demand and get rid of me. At that moment, a cool breeze brushed over my body as he stood up with my clothes. Despite bracing myself, the dizziness hit anew, and I stared at the ceiling, unable to summon the courage to look at my naked body.
‘What on earth were those noblewomen thinking, using a s*x slave?’
Just lying here, undressed, felt maddening. To engage in something more intimate was beyond my comprehension. They seemed like an entirely different species from me.
The only saving grace was the darkness of the room. The window was so small that even the moonlight barely penetrated, meaning he couldn’t see my body clearly. That was my sole comfort.
“I’m going to kiss you.”
He had climbed back on top of me, slowly lowering his head. My heart pounded so hard it felt like it would burst. It wouldn’t be surprising if I fainted right then. His warm breath touched the sensitive skin of my lips. Avoiding his gaze, I stared at the wall and closed my eyes, waiting for the kiss.
“…..”
But why wasn’t it happening? No matter how long I waited, the kiss didn’t come. I could only sense his body heat, reminding me of how close he still was.
My mind quickly became a mess. Why was he just standing still? How should I handle this situation? Should I scold him again? Should I initiate the kiss first?
I couldn’t do anything. I had already exhausted all my courage. It was a wonder I hadn’t fainted yet.
“Are you cold?”
“…What?”
I reflexively opened my eyes, immediately regretting it as I found him staring down at me from very close. His blue eyes, almost the color of the sky, were especially vivid in the darkness. Unlike before, they seemed a bit confused.
Did he figure out that this was my first time?
My heart sank.
“What are you talking about?”
“Why are you trembling so much?”
“What?”
“Why are you…”
He furrowed his brow slightly and very carefully touched my shoulder. I flinched at his touch.
“…I was asking if you are cold.”
He frowned a bit. I just stared at him, unable to say anything. Cold? How could I be? The spot where his hand touched felt like it was burning. No, my whole body felt like it was on fire.
“Ignore it.”
“How can I ignore it?”
“Tremble or not, just do what you need to do.”
“I can’t do that.”
